Graham co-founded Stride Magazine in the 1980s. Since then he has 'dabbled' with journalism and reviewing, written a guide on the Hound of the Baskervilles and published books on writing for language-learners. He is a member of the Society of Authors and the National Association of Writers in Education. His recent work includes a song cycle with composer Jenni Pinnock called Cracked Voices.
