Jane Bower is a retired teacher/adviser in art, drama, dance and writing to UK primary schools, and also taught in India, UAE, Armenia, and as associate lecturer at Cambridge University’s Faculty of Education. She writes and performs solo shows, and appeared with Dame Maureen Lipman in a play Maureen commissioned. Jane’s poems have won several prizes. Her latest book Thread and Thrum was a runner up in the 2021 Eyelands International Book Awards. Jane now works as a writer, speaker, actress, and as vocal coach to trainee church ministers.
