Jenny is a Senior Lecturer in International Politics, Aberystwyth University. She co-edited and contributed to the book Heroism and Global Politics, which 'examines the cultural and political phenomenon of heroism and its relationship to the process of creating, sustaining and challenging political communities'.
She has a background in the study of Russian politics, history and security (MPhil in Slavonic and East European Studies from Oxford) as well as an undergraduate degree (BA Mount Holyoke College, US) and PhD (DPhil Oxford) in International Relations. She also conducts research in the of women/gender and conflict.
