Jenny grew up in Martlesham Heath in Suffolk and attended Woodbridge School. She graduated with a BA in History and Politics and a MA in Islamic history from SOAS University of London and later completed a MBA at Henley Business School.
Before becoming an MP, Jenny worked for various PR agencies. She also served as an Army Reservist.
