Miles Pattenden is Senior Research Fellow in Medieval and Early Modern Studies at the Australian Catholic University, and the Co-Editor of The Journal of Religious History. He specialises in the history of the Catholic Church and has published a number of books. His current projects include the Cambridge History of the Papacy and studies of Catholic clerical subcultures.
