Initially trained as a primary teacher, Nick Meyer worked in Adult Education from the 1980s until retiring in 2008. His roles included teaching literacy, running programmes for unemployed adults, developing and managing an educational guidance service for adults in Norfolk. He worked as staff development officer and curriculum manager for Norfolk Adult Education Service and ran European Adult Education Projects for the County. In 2001 went to France to teach English language and literature to adult students. He now lives near Bristol and does some occasional teaching for local adult providers. He has published one novel.
