Dr Sam Edwards

Dr Sam Edwards is a historian at Loughborough University. He researches the history of the two world wars, the commemoration of conflict, and 20th century US-UK relations. Raised and educated in north Suffolk, Sam has a long running interest in East Anglia's links to America, a product of teenage cycling expeditions to the old airfields of the US 8th Air Force. Sam is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society, a Trustee of Sulgrave Manor, and a Governor of The American Library.
