Dr Brophy is a Senior Lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan Business School and an applied microeconomist specialising in education, human capital, and labour markets.
His research has been published in leading journals including the Journal of Regional Science, Studies in Higher Education, and the British Education Research Journal. Sean’s work has been featured in The Times, The Financial Times, The Conversation, HEPI, Wonkhe, and Times Higher Education. He has also designed and delivered executive education programmes for global organisations including Google and KPMG.
Sean is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and the Royal Society of Arts. He is also a member of the Royal Economic Society and the European Association of Labour Economists.
