Hugh Aldersey-Williams is a Norfolk-based writer and curator and long-time Thomas Browne obsessive. His exploration of his life and our times, The Adventures of Sir Thomas Browne in the 21st Century, was published in 2015. His popular science titles include Periodic Tales and Tide. He has curated exhibitions at the Victoria & Albert Museum and the Wellcome Collection. His most recent book is Dutch Light, a biography of the 17th century Dutch scientist Christiaan Huygens.
